Cole's first Pinewood Derby Race was a success. He designed a cool looking car and was 1 of 4 Tiger Cub Scouts to make it to the finals. He finished 10th overall out of 36 cars. It was a fun experience and he is already making improvements for next year.
Welcome to SchwartzCentral, our little space on the web. This Blog is dedicated to the Schwartz kids. There are so many activities in our life,I wanted to slow down and document our experiences. Hopefully the kids can look back on this and remember some of the things we have done.
Life Happens Fast and the kids are growing up so quickly.

New Years Eve at Disney

I asked Cole what he wanted to do for New Years and he said "Go bowling" We couldn't wait any longer! On December 30th we finally broke the news that we were going to Disney World. We spent 5 days on property, visited each park a few times and had a great time.
We arrived at the Wilderness Lodge and as usual, they could not have treated us any nicer. The entire lodge was still decorated for the holidays and was awesome to see. We checked in and decided that we would spend our first day (New Year's) at MGM. The kids had a blast. They got to meet all their favorite characters from Buzz and Woody to The Little Einsteins. The only down side to the day was that we were so excited and so exhausted, we didn't stay awake to ring in the New Year.

Day 2: We got up early and took the boat to the Magic Kingdom.
Unlike our trip in February, where we had to do everything possible, we really took our time and enjoyed the day. We hit all the kids favorite rides. Noah has no fear as he glided the Astro Orbiter to new heights pushing it to go higher and faster. His other favorite ride was Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. Cole loved Big Thunder Railroad and for some strange reason they all loved the TTA.
Of course, Jordan got to meet all the Princesses. Noah also got up close and personal with Cinderella.
Days 3-5 : On Day 3 We hit Epcot and the kids got a BIG surprise when Nana showed up. It was cold and rainy and there was not much reaction but they all told us how happy they were that Nana got to go on rides with them. We hit Epcot, Animal Kingdom and the Magic Kingdom the last 3 days and it was a lot of fun. Cole and Dad did some late night swimming at the lodge and it was very fun. We got to see the fireworks from the beach and just hang out. It was a great vacation surprise and they have not stopped talking about Disney since.
